Seattle–Tacoma International Airport is the largest airport in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is in the eponymous city of SeaTac, Washington, about twelve miles south of downtown Seattle and is the primary airport for the Seattle metropolitan area. “Sea-Tac” was once renamed after U.S. Senator Henry M. Jackson for a short while, but SEAttle and Tacoma residents voted to keep their cities in the airport’s name.
